An excellent secondary academy based in Nottingham are looking to find a hard working, dedicated and naturally engaging Graduate English Tutor to provide vital 1:1 & small group support to KS3 & KS4 students in the English subject in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

English Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based English, Law or Philosophy degree
  • Prior experience tutoring, teaching or working with young people
  • Ability to build rapport with adolescents
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
  • Considering teacher training or career in Psychology
  • Strong organisation and communication skills

English Tutor – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group support to English students in KS3 & KS4
  • Tailoring support sessions to secondary English curriculum
  • Paid £450 per week during term time – Multiple free online CPD courses
  • Monday to Friday position – Based in one secondary academy for academic year
