i-teachers are currently working with a warm, welcoming and inclusive primary academy based in the BS13 area who are actively looking to find a dedicated, outgoing and engaging KS1 Classroom Assistant!

In this role as a KS1 Classroom Assistant, the successful candidate will be planning and conducting lessons alongside the class teacher whilst offering individual and small group reading & writing support to pupils.

KS1 Classroom Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
  • Prior experience working with children or young people
  • Naturally outgoing and personable individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Interested in a career working with children

KS1 Classroom Assistant – Role Information:

  • Planning and conducting lessons alongside the class teacher
  • Offering individual and small group support to pupils
  • Paid £450 per week during term time only – FREE online CPD courses available
  • Monday to Friday role – Based in one primary academy
  • Immediate start – Ending July 2024 with option to go permanent
