SEMH Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Located in Chesterfield (S41)
  • Paid £450 per week during term time only (before tax)
  • Monday to Friday role – Based in one alternative provision school
  • Immediate start – Usual school working hours
  • Providing 1:1 & small group support to students during lesson time
  • Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher

SEMH Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about working with children
