Teacher of Maths – Role Description

  • Full-time, Mon – Fri
  • September 2024 start date
  • Deliver a enriched, balanced and differentiated curriculum
  • Teach Maths to KS3 and KS4 to a high standard
  • Motivate students to engage and thrive in your subject
  • Plan lessons, develop resources and syllabuses
  • Maintain appropriate records

Teacher of Maths – Role Requirements

  • QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • Teaching experience at secondary level
  • Able to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4
  • Able to write lesson plans, develop resources and assess students’ work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate students and raise their aspirations
  • Good level of ICT skills
