i-teachers are working with an excellent alternative provision academy in the Chapel en le Frith area who are eager to find a naturally outgoing, resilient and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their superb teaching & learning department for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time role.

In this role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to help plan and conduct lessons alongside the class teacher for students with behavioural needs across KS3 & KS4 whilst also providing dedicated individual and small group support during lesson time.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Located in Chapel En Le Frith (SK23) – Based in one alternative provision academy
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Paid £450 per week during term time only
• FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Supporting class teacher in planning and conducting lessons
• Conducting tailored 1:1 & small group support for students
• Building professional relationship with staff and students
• *NO UK Visa Sponsorship available for this role*

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject, Psychology or Sociology university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and resilient individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with young people
