Are you a recent UK based Psychology subject graduate eager to find a role where you can support a secondary student with SEMH needs in a school for the academic year?
An excellent secondary academy based in the Sunderland area is keen to find a warm, passionate and outgoing 1:1 SEMH Support Tutor to create a warm and comforting learning environment as they prepare for their GCSE exams at the end of the academic year.
In this role as an 1:1 SEMH Support Tutor you will earn £440 per week during term time whilst also having access to multiple online CPD courses in topics such as SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health. The role is a full-time Monday to Friday position for the full academic year, with the opportunity to remain permanently upon review.

- 1:1 SEMH Support Tutor

- Based inside of superb secondary pastoral department
- Full academic year – Usual school working hours
- Paid £430 per week during term time
- Working directly with student struggling with mental health
- Providing inspiring and engaging learning experiences
- Being patient and supportive regarding pupils progress

- Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology subject degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with young people
- Naturally engaging and outgoing individual
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Eager to utilise degree subject knowledge
- Interested in a tutoring role for full academic year
