Are you a recent Psychology, Education Studies or Youth Work graduate with a desire to find a full-time SEN TA role supporting a child with complex learning difficulties for the academic year?
We are currently working with a superb primary school located in the Birmingham area who are eager to find a superb SEN TA to provide dedicated 1:1 support to children within their EYFS department inside a specially designed SEND unit for the coming academic year in a full-time role.
In this role as a 1:1 SEN TA, the successful candidate will be required to provide social and emotional support to EYFS aged children with Autism and complex learning difficulties through carefully structured Education Health Care Plan support.

1:1 SEN TA – Role Information:
- Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group SEN support for EYFS children
- Creating fun, engaging and inspiring learning experiences
- Tailoring support around Education Health Care Plans for children
- Paid £440 per week during term time only
- Monday to Friday role based in one EYFS department – SEND Unit
- September 2024 to July 2025 – 08.30am – 15.30pm working hours

1:1 SEN TA – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Education Studies or Youth Work degree
- Previous experience supporting children
- Passionate about a career working with SEN children
- Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with children
