A wonderful Infant & Nursery School based in Swadlincote is looking to find a supportive, enthusiastic and hard-working 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide excellent support to a child in their EYFS department with ASD for the remainder of the academic year. You will be working inside and out of the classroom, tailoring support sessions based around an Education Health Care Plan.

In this role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be paid £84 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday position beginning ASAP and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our partnership with the Online CPD College, and free access to a subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and SEN.

1:1 Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Dedicated to providing exceptional child based care & support
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Patient and understanding regarding pupils progress
