An outstanding sixth-form college located in the centre of Birmingham is eager to add an ambitious, dedicated and hard-working A-Level English Language Teacher to their superb English Language department in a permanent role beginning in the new academic year.

In this role as an A-Level English Language Teacher, the successful candidate will be required to provide superb A-Level learning experiences to KS5 students utilising the colleges modern and broad curriculum. The role is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on subject knowledge and the ability to build a rapport with students.

 A-Level English Language Teacher – Role Information:

• A-Level English Language Teacher
• Located in Birmingham (B12)
• Permanent role – Beginning September 2025
• Paid £32,500 – £48,500 per annum with TLR available
• Teaching AS & A-Level English Language
• Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
• Any subject specialism desirable

A-Level English Language Teacher – Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary or Post 16 education
• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
• Good or better prior teaching observations
• Strong academic background
• Excellent classroom & behaviour management skillset
• Ability to build rapport with young people
