i-teachers are currently working with a secondary academy based in the Durham area who are eager to find a dedicated, hard-working and passionate Academic Intervention Mentor to provide vital intervention support to their KS3 & KS4 students inside and out of the classroom for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time role.

Academic Intervention Mentor – Role Information:

  • Academic Intervention Mentor
  • Located in Durham (DH1)
  • Based in one secondary school
  • Monday to Friday role – 08.30am to 15:00pm
  • Immediate Start – Ending July 2024
  • Paid £450 per week during term time only before tax
  • Providing 1:1 & small group GCSE subject tutoring
  • Creating support sessions based around current curriculum

Academic Intervention Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with adolescents or children
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
  • Passionate about a career in your specialist subject
  • Ability to build rapport with young people
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available*
