This is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands on experience of working in a fulfilling role in education. The Academic Learning Mentor will work closely with children to give them the confidence they need to continue their educational journey after school! In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with children in groups or as a 1:1.

Academic Learning Mentor- The role

• Academic Learning Mentor
• Paid £90 to £110 per day term time
• Monday to Friday – full-time
• Long term role- no supply!
• Supporting or pushing forward young people

Academic Learning Mentor- Person specification

• Minimum 2:2 degree
• Strong academic background e.g. A-Levels
• Passionate about making a difference to young people
• An Academic Learning Mentor should have a patient and naturally warm personality
• Experience working with pupils e.g. TA work/tutoring

• An Academic Learning Mentor role in a central area of Hackney
• Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in last inspection
• Strong leadership team to help you progress in your role
• Experienced mentors to support
