The Academic Learning Mentor will work closely with children to give them the confidence they need to continue their educational journey after school! In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with children in groups or as a 1:1.

Academic Learning Mentor- The role

• Academic Learning Mentor
• Paid £85 to £95 per day term time
• Tutor needed in History, English, Geography and MFL
• Long term role- no supply!
• Supporting or pushing forward young people

Academic Learning Mentor- Person specification

• Minimum 2:2 degree
• Strong academic background e.g. A-Levels
• Passionate about making a difference to young people
• An Academic Learning Mentor should have a patient and naturally warm personality

Academic Learning Mentor- The School

• An Academic Learning Mentor role in a central area of Rainham
• Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in last inspection
• Part of an Academy of school across London
• Strong leadership team to help you progress in your role
• Experienced mentors to support
• Close transport links – Rainham Station (C2C service)
