Academic Tutors needed in a fantastic Leeds Secondary School – long term experience for the full academic year prior to teacher training

Are you an incoming Core Subject graduate with a passion for education and a desire to find a role as an Academic Tutor for the coming academic year?

Do you want the opportunity to gain first-hand permanent teaching experience as an Academic Tutor in your specialist subject?

Maybe you want to find a role where you’ll be able to utilise your degree subject knowledge as an Academic Tutor before progressing into a teacher training programme?

Academic Tutor – The Role:

  • Academic Tutor
  • Located in Leeds
  • Paid £325 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 and group support sessions
  • Supporting students across Key Stage 3/Key Stage 4
  • Opportunity to gain first-hand teaching experience
  • Long-term role – NO SUPPLY!

Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Core Subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Passionate about your specialist subject
  • Brilliant organisation and communication skills
  • Naturally supportive and outgoing personality
