Behaviour Mentor – Graduate Role – Key Information:

  • Paid up to £90 per day
  • Long-term, full-time position
  • School working hours
  • Based in a lovely & supportive secondary school

  • Work within the inclusion/behaviour team
  • Outstanding graded secondary school
  • Option to train to teach from September 2020

Behaviour Mentor – Graduate Role – The Role:

  • Deliver high standards across the inclusion team
  • Work one to one and in small groups with specific students in order to promote positive behaviour choices and support the students with their development
  • Mentor students within academic, social and emotional areas
  • Liaise with the behaviour and resilience mentors
  • Meet with parents/carers when required to feedback on student behaviour and progress

Behaviour Mentor – Graduate Role – Ideal Candidate:

  • Graduate role – 2.1 or 1st degree
  • Interest and desire to work with young people
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Prior experience working with young people
