A Behaviour/ SEN Mentor position has arisen for a graduate passionate about education to work in a popular primary school in Leeds, interviews are being held ASAP!

  • Behaviour/ SEN Mentor- Full time role
  • Starting ASAP – Full time, long term role
  • Monday – Friday hours
  • Paid between £69- 96 per day (term time)
  • Working closely with the inclusion and SEN departments
  • Work 1:1 with pupils who need support as a Behaviour/ SEN Mentor
  • Resilient and determined role model needed

Behaviour/ SEN Mentor – PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Behaviour/ SEN Mentor- Full time
  • Degree essential!
  • 2:1 or above in your degree is ideal
  • Strong academic background – Good A-Level & GCSE results
  • Passion for Education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience with challenging behaviour is required for this Behaviour/ SEN Mentor
  • Ability to build relationships with pupils with behavioural and additional needs
  • Behaviour/ SEN Mentor- September 2022!

This exciting role will see you join the schools inclusion department. Pupils may be required to leave their lesson either through causing disruption in the classroom or other reasons. As a Behaviour/ SEN Mentor, you will work with pupils to understand their needs and remove any barriers to learning.

Pupils at this school come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, some may have social and emotional difficulties. You will be provided with excellent training and support from the school and have the opportunity to work alongside other talented graduates.
