Person specification – Biology Academic Tutor
To be a successful Biology Academic Tutor you must have strong communication skills and be someone who can engage with young people of all abilities and backgrounds. Ideally you will have a 2:1 or above degree in Biology, with a good academic background to support you application. You will need to be resilient and have high levels of energy to keep the students engaged and excited about Science and education. Most importantly you will feel passionate about a career in education and strong desire to really make a difference.
About the role – Biology Academic Tutor
You will work with targeted students who need that extra push to achieve their full potential. You will also work closely with year 11’s on the run up to their GCSE’s. This is role can be varied, one day you may be working with lower abilities students, the next you may be working with higher ability students to give them the challenge they need and push them above and beyond expectations. Full training and support will be provided including safeguarding and other relevant training.
