i-teachers are currently working with a wonderful primary and pre-school located in Blackburn who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing Teaching Assistant to their team.

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 and small group support both inside and outside of the classroom environment utilising Education Health Care Plan.

Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

  • Primary and pre-school
  • Delivering tailored support based around individual pupils needs
  • Located in Blackburn
  • Paid up to £95 per day during term time
  • Online CPD courses included: SEN, Safeguarding & Behaviour – as well as support and training from the school
  • Monday to Friday role, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • February 2025 to July 2025 – interviewing ASAP!

Teaching Assistant – Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
  • Huge team player – Happy to assist with a variety of tasks
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Knowledgeable regarding ICT and Microsoft
  • Excellent communication skills and good judgement
  • Proficient with (or willing to learn) Autism Education Trust Strategies (AETS)
  • Passionate about the development of children
