Computer Science Teacher – Job Description

  • Permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
  • £32,157 – £50,935 salary (dependent on experience)

  • Communicate with parents/guardians when appropriate

Computer Science Teacher – Requirements

  • Must hold QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • Experience teaching at secondary level, ideally working with ages 11-18
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to motivate students and inspire them to engage in Computer Science
  • Have knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Motivated to efficiently mark all students with work and provide quality feedback
  • Confident and patient personality
