Director of Curriculum: Social and Life Sciences – The role:

  • Start: September 2024
  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time
  • Reporting to: Vice Principal (Curriculum and Quality)
  • Responsible for the leadership and development of the College’s educational offer and ensuring the quality of delivery is of the highest standard to enable an excellent student experience.
  • Needs to have the ability to work with and alongside colleagues to develop business and maintain strong employer relationships.
  • Develop, liaise and maintain, as necessary, with institutions that are in partnership with the College for the delivery of the College’s programmes.
  • Achieve agreed targets and performance indicators across all areas of responsibility
  • Providing guidance for other members of staff within the department

Candidate specification – What the College are looking for:

  • UK QTS
  • NQTs are welcome to apply
  • 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course
  • Strong academic background
  • Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
  • Background teaching the following subjects: Health & Social Care, Early Years, Social & Life Sciences
  • Candidates must have both management and teaching experience
  • All candidates must have an enhanced DBS check
