This charming community primary school in Manchester is looking for the ideal 1:1 Teaching Assistant who can make a big difference to the inclusive education of children with additional needs in early years. You will need to have a strong academic background with a degree in Psychology, Education or a core subject as well as having strong A Levels. Previous experience of working with children is essnetial, although not necasserily in a school based setting.
Your role will see you support children with additonal needs (Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language), as they work towards their individual learning plans. You will work closely with the SENCO and other staff members, to ensure the best possible learning and well-being outcomes. Day to day you will support in basic literacy and numeracy, as well as supporting learning through play.
