Exam Invigilator

i-teachers are currently working with exceptional secondary schools across London who are looking to appoint a team of Exam Invigilators to support them throughout the busy exam period.

Are you looking to gain school experience before starting your teacher training?

If so, you could be a perfect fit for our Exam Invigilator positions!

Please note that due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required to work in different locations on a short-term basis. You could find yourself working in one school for whole exam period or work across multiple schools in a borough. Hourly or day rates will be provided depending on the school. Full training will be provided.

Exam Invigilator – responsibilities

  • Supporting the Exams team with the day to day running of the exams
  • Setting up the room before
  • Reporting of incidents to the Exams Officer
  • Ensuring the exams run in a timely manner
  • Supervising KS3 – KS5 students throughout their exams
  • Collecting exam papers
  • Tidying the exam rooms after
  • Ensuring students are sat in the correct seats

Exam Invigilator – requirements

  • UK RTW
  • Strong academic background e.g degree
  • Must be reliable
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Must have excellent organisation skills
  • Be available from April 2024 – June 2024
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Confident personality – the ability to address large groups of pupils is essential
