To be considered for this EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
- 1st or 2:1 degree – Russell Group (preferable) in a core subject
- Significant SEN experience
- Speech & Language experience
- A patient and supportive manner
In this rewarding EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you would be supporting a reception / EYFS pupil with autism. You would be working 1:1 with this child as well as working with small groups within the student’s class, to ensure that the class teacher is supported and the student is given the best access to learning!
The ideal EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant must have significant experience of teaching and supporting SEN children, especially working with autism. It would be preferable if you have had experience of working within a school or education setting in the past?
Good Knowledge & significant experience of teaching the English National Curriculum in schools would be required for this EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role and you would need to have good English, literacy and numeracy skills.
