i-teachers are supporting a brilliant secondary academy located in the Blackburn area who are eager to add a knowledgeable, outgoing and hard-working GCSE Academic Tutor to help provide 1:1 & small group tutoring support to their Year 11 students in a full-time role for the rest of the academic year.

GCSE Academic Tutor – Role Information:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to Year 11 students
• Working across Year 11 department
• Creating tailored academic support sessions
• Monday to Friday role based in one secondary school
• Located in the Blackburn area
• Paid £450 per week during term time only
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

GCSE Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Core Subject related degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience supporting development of children or adolescents
• Naturally outgoing and personable individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting the all-round development of young people
