GCSE Science Teacher - Role/ Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards

- Push educational development

- Identify issues in pupils learning

- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts

- Commitment to safeguarding protocols

- Working across KS3 & KS4 Science subject department

- Biology, Chemistry or Physics subject specialism

- Utilising broad and exciting secondary Science curriculum

- MPS – UPS per annum +TLR available

- Beginning September 2025 (Open to applicants that want an earlier start)

- Prepare students for exams and assessments

GCSE Science Teacher - Essential requirements

- 2:1 or above

- A PGCE

- A strong background in science, with relevant experience

- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)– Secondary Science

- Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism

- Open to both recently qualified and experienced teachers

- Good classroom management skillset

- Good or outstanding lesson observations

- Naturally outgoing and engaging individual

- Passionate about education

- Right to work in the UK

- Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
