Teacher of Geography – The Role:

• Teacher of Geography – Permanent full-time position
• MPS £28,000 – £38,810 per annum
• Teach Geography to the highest standard across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, resource and deliver lessons that ensure real learning takes place and pupils make superior progress
• Provide a productive learning environment and strive for the best for every child
• Instil a love for the subject in students and a desire to learn

Teacher of Geography – Qualifications and Experience

• Teacher of Geography– experienced or ECT
• Geography-related degree and QTS
• Have a good, up-to-date working knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies
• Know how to use and adapt them, including how to personalise learning to provide opportunities for all students to achieve their potential
• Have a secure understanding of their curriculum area and related pedagogy
• Passion for Geography and providing the very highest standard of teaching
