Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant- Wolverhampton- Person specification
This role requires 2:1 or above degree in Geography or Geography related subject. We are looking for a determined, hard-working Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant who can work at a successful, fast paced secondary school. You will need good communication skills to relay vital information throughout the academic year but especially leading up to exam time whereby your skills will be of paramount importance to assist the class teacher in making sure all students attain their target grade.
Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant- Wolverhampton- About the role
This role will entail working 1:1 and in small groups this role will be key for students who are currently on the C/D borderline and need that extra push to attain their GCSE in Geography. Furthermore the role will entail assisting the whole department in daily routines, such as organising group work and assessing class work. Additionally, as your confidence grows there will be further opportunity to add to your experience by taking on extra responsibility such as conducting your own mini lessons and possibly contributing to the lesson plan of the entire class.
