Graduate Pastoral Coach – Sunderland (SR2) – Full Time – Academic Year – Beginning ASAP!

Are you a recent Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies looking to find a full-time role where you can utilise your degree subject knowledge in fantastic secondary school for the coming academic year?

Would you value the opportunity to plan and conduct tailored support sessions for students with SEMH needs as a Graduate Pastoral Coach inside and out of the classroom?

In this role as an Graduate Pastoral Coach you will be working with students inside the schools KS3 & KS4 department with behavioural & mental health needs. You will earn £430 per week during term time, whilst also having access to multiple online CPD courses on topics such as SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding.

Graduate Pastoral Coach – Role Information:

• SEN Intervention Tutor
• Monday to Friday role – Full academic year
• Based in one secondary school – Usual school working hours
• Located in Stamford (PE9)
• Providing in & out of class support to students with SEN needs
• Working across KS3 & KS4 department throughout academic year
• Remaining patient, caring and supportive throughout

Graduate Pastoral Coach – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Core Subject or Sociology degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Passionate about the progression of young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Patient and supportive regarding progress of students
