Graduate Pastoral Mentor – Key Information:
- Graduate Pastoral Mentor role
- £300 – £325 per week, term time only
- Full time, Monday – Friday school hours
- Excellent senior leadership department
- Supportive pastoral department
- Based in Leeds
- Good transportation links
Graduate Pastoral Mentor – The Role:
- Work alongside a talented and supportive pastoral department
- Develop teaching techniques and communication skills
- Monitor student progress
- Support students with personal and academic difficulties
- Ability to cater for an array of different educational needs
- Take on feedback on continually improve your practice
Graduate Pastoral Mentor – Person Specification:
- 2:1 or 1st class degree
- Strong academic background to support (e.g. A-Levels)
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Previous work with children is desirable
- Supportive and inspiring personality
- Patient and empathetic mentality is crucial
- Passionate about education
- Firm but fair behaviour management approach
