Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – Key Information:

Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – The role:

  • Work within the inclusion team
  • Manage behaviour
  • Maintain high expectations and aspirations
  • Run 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assist with the delivery of the behaviour policy
  • Liaise with colleagues, parents and carers
  • Monitor attendance and behaviour
  • Ensure student’s progress and achieve to their potential

Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – Person specification:

  • 2.1 or 1stdegree
  • Strong A Levels and GCSEs
  • An interest and passion for education
  • Long-term desire to work in education
  • Experience working with young people previously
  • Prior experience working with challenging behaviour – desirable
