Are you a recent Psychology, Sociology or Childhood Studies graduate eager to find a full-time Primary Graduate SEN Assistant in the Leicester area for the academic year?

i-teachers are currently working with a warm and welcoming nursery & infant academy based in the Leicester area who are eager to find a dedicated, naturally outgoing and supportive Graduate SEN Assistant to help plan and conduct lessons alongside the class teacher for the remainder of the academic year whilst supporting the all-round development of their pupils with SEN.

Graduate SEN Assistant – Role Information:

• Graduate Classroom Assistant
• Located in Leicester (LE3)
• Based in one primary academy
• Paid £450 per week during term time before tax
• Monday to Friday role – 08.30am – 15.00pm working hours
• March 2024 – July 2024
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside the class teacher
• Supporting KS1 pupil with special educational needs
• Tailoring support sessions based around Education Health Care Plan

Graduate SEN Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Childhood Studies degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children or young people
• Naturally engaging and proactive individual
• Passionate about a career working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
