Graduate SEN Learning Mentor– The Role and Benefits:

  • Full time, paid position (term time only) £375-£450 per week
  • Close by to Grove Park Station
  • Offer support on a 1:1 basis and give feedback to teacher on pupil’s progress
  • Act as a mentor for pupil and help ease transitioning from different lessons
  • General Teaching Assistant duties may also be required to support the class teacher
  • Perfect for an aspiring SEN Teacher/Primary School Teacher/Educational Psychologist
  • Opportunity to gain more skills in SEN education and 1:1 support

Graduate SEN Learning Mentor – Person Specification

  • 2:1 or above (Psychology degree preferred)
  • Excellent academic background
  • Genuine interest and passion for SEN education
  • Patient and engaging personality
  • Ability to use own initiative to support the welfare and education of pupils
  • Previous experience working in schools would be advantageous
