Graduate Student Support Coach – Nottingham – Full Time – Academic Year – Beginning ASAP!

Are you a recent Psychology, Core Subject or Sociology based graduate looking to gain vital first-hand school based experience supporting students with their all-round development?

A wonderful secondary academy based in the Nottingham area is looking to find a hard-working, resilient and naturally outgoing Graduate Student Support Coach to provide excellent all-round care and support to KS3 & KS4 students struggling with behavioural & mental health issues.

In this role as a Graduate Student Support Coach, you will be working with students both inside and out of the classroom setting. You will earn £430 per week during term time, whilst also having access to multiple online CPD courses on topics such as SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding.

Graduate Student Support Coach – Role Information:

• Graduate Student Support Coach
• Monday to Friday role – Full academic year
• Based in one secondary school – Usual school working hours
• Located in Nottingham (NG6)
• Providing in & out of class support to students with SEMH needs
• Working across KS3 & KS4 department throughout academic year
• Remaining patient, caring and supportive throughout

Graduate Student Support Coach – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Core Subject or Sociology degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Passionate about the progression of young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Patient and supportive regarding progress of students
