Graduate Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:

• Enthusiasm, determination and energy!
• 2:1 or above degree in a core subject (Ideally English, Maths or Science)
• Strong A-Levels to Match
• The desire to pursue a career in education
• Ideally some previous experience of working with children/young people

As a graduate teaching assistant you will be supporting a range of pupils including high achievers and those who need an extra boost to reach the grade they deserve. Your day-to-day activities will vary and will include supporting the teachers in class, delivering 1:1 sessions with pupils, extra-curricular activities and much more. This will give you a great overview of the whole school life and what it takes to be a teacher.
