Graduate Teaching Assistant – Scunthorpe – Primary School – Full Academic Year

A warm, welcoming and inviting primary school based in Scunthorpe is looking to find a naturally engaging and outgoing Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their wonderful SEN department for the coming academic year.

In this role as an Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be providing a child with Autism in the school’s KS1 department with vital 1:1 support sessions based inside and out of the classroom for the coming academic year. You will be tailoring sessions to the child’s Education Health Care Plan, focusing on topics based around the schools balanced curriculum.

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Specifics:

• Monday to Friday role
• Full academic year – September 2023 start
• 30am – 15.00pm working hours
• Working with KS1 child with Autism
• Paid £430 per week during term time
• FREE access to multiple online CPD college course
• Interviewing for role at start of new academic year

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies based graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Passionate about supporting young people’s mental health
• Naturally warm and engaging personality
• Interested in a career based within Educational Psychology
• Good organisation and communication skills
