Role Description – History Teacher

  • Permanent position
  • £32,157 – £42,624 (based on experience)
  • Teach History to a high standard across KS3 and KS4
  • Grade exams, homework, classwork etc and provide feedback
  • Provide extra support to students struggling with the curriculum
  • Praise students for progress
  • Provide a fun, engaging, and interesting learning environment

Person Specification – History Teacher

  • Bachelor’s degree in History
  • Must have QTS
  • Passion for History and desire to help students reach their full academic potential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge/training on Safeguarding
  • Evidence of successful teaching at secondary level
