Are you a recent Humanities graduates with a passion for education, and a desire to gain first-hand secondary tutoring experience as a Humanities Subject Tutor in Nottingham ASAP?

Perhaps you’re interested in pursing a career in teaching or as an academic, but first want to have the opportunity to plan and conduct 1:1 & small group support sessions as a Humanities Subject Tutor?

Did you graduate in the last academic year, and feel as though you aren’t utilising your Humanities degree enough in your current role?

A superb secondary academy based in Nottingham is looking to find a hard-working, dedicated and outgoing Humanities Subject Tutor to help provide excellent teaching & learning experiences to their KS3 & KS4 students inside and out of the classroom for the remainder of the academic year. In this role as a Humanities Subject Tutor, you will be planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions for KS3 & KS4 students in topics which they need support with based in the Humanities subject.

In this Humanities Subject Tutor role you will earn £86 per day during term in a Monday to Friday role working school hours, beginning ASAP and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our partnership with the Online CPD College, and a free subject enhancement knowledge course based on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and SEN.

Humanities Subject Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Humanities UK Based University Degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally warm and supportive personality
  • Good organisation & communication skills
  • Hard-working and outgoing during school hours
  • Passionate about a career educating others
