KS1 Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Full academic year
• Located in Swadlincote (DE11)
• Based in one primary school for full year
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
• Paid £440 per week during term time
• FREE access to multiple Online CPD College courses
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
• Providing small group and individual support during lessons
• Being proactive and engaging member of support staff

KS1 Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies based university graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience mentoring, tutoring or volunteering
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Naturally warm and engaging personality
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with people quickly
