Learning Support Assistant 1:1 – Role Description
- Full-time, long-term position
- Paid teaching placement, £375 – £450 per week
- Work 1:1 for a child with an EHC plan
- Establish an appropriate learning environment
- Work with the teacher to plan lessons and adjust work to suit the child’s learning needs
- Assist in general classroom duties e.g., creating resources and organising equipment
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment for SEN pupils
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress
