Learning Support Assistant 1:1 – Role Description

  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Paid teaching placement, £375 – £450 per week
  • Work 1:1 for a child with an EHC plan
  • Establish an appropriate learning environment
  • Work with the teacher to plan lessons and adjust work to suit the child’s learning needs
  • Assist in general classroom duties e.g., creating resources and organising equipment
  • Create a fun and engaging learning environment for SEN pupils
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress
