Are you an incoming Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies graduate with a passion for working with children and a desire to gain vital school-based SEN teaching support experience in Burton-Upon-Trent for the coming academic year?

A warm, vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the Burton-Upon-Trent area is eager to add a hard-working, naturally outgoing and committed Learning Support Assistant to their superb learning support department in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, the successful candidate will be providing dedicated 1:1 & small group SEN support to KS1 & KS2 children with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group support to SEN children across KS1 & KS2
  • Creating tailored academic, social and emotional support sessions
  • Following carefully structured Education Healthcare Plan
  • Paid £92 per day during term time – Monday to Friday role
  • September 2025 to July 2026 contracted position

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Neuroscience degree
  • Prior experience working with children desirable
  • Naturally outgoing and proactive individual
  • Excellent organisation and communication skillset
  • Passionate about the development of children
