Are you an incoming 2024 Psychology or Neuroscience graduate with a desire to gain vital SEN teaching support experience in a full-time role for the coming academic year?

We are currently working with a warm, welcoming and atmospheric primary school located in the Coventry area who are eager to add a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to their excellent SEN department in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide excellent 1:1 & small group support for their KS1 & KS2 pupils with special educational needs based around a detailed Education Health Care Plan.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Based in Coventry (CV2 area)
  • Monday to Friday role – Full academic year
  • Paid £450 per week during term time
  • FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Behaviour
  • Planning & conducting 1:1 & small group SEN support
  • Supporting pupils based within KS1 & KS2 department
  • Being patient and supportive regarding student progress

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Neuroscience or Childhood Studies degree
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work as individual and in a team
