Are you a recent Psychology, Childhood Studies or Education Studies based graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

Maybe you have prior experience supporting children with various learning difficulties, and want to utilise your experience inside of a school setting for the remainder of the academic year?

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in KS1 with complex learning difficulties in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil in KS1 with SEN
  • Utilising tailored Education Health Care plan for pupils
  • Working both inside and outside of classroom environment
  • Located in Blackburn (BB2) area
  • Paid £465 per week during term time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • March 2025 to July 2025
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree / One year of experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Naturally outgoing, resilient and supportive individual
  • Passionate about the all-round development of children
  • *NO UK visa sponsorship available with this role*
