Are you a recent graduate with an interest in education, and a passion for supporting young children and their all round development as a Learning Support Assistant?

Maybe you’re looking to progress into a career as a Psychologist, but want to gain vital first hand SEN based experience supporting a child in a KS1 classroom as a Learning Support Assistant?

Perhaps you want to progress into a PGCE, but want to gain experience inside of a KS1 classroom planning and providing 1:1 support sessions for a child with ASD as a Learning Support Assistant?

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working both inside and out of a KS1 classroom planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions for a child with ASD. You will be working alongside a superb SEN department, able to provide you with excellent support and techniques to create a warm and safe environment during term time.

You will be paid £85 per day during term time, in a Monday to Friday role with the working hours being from 08.30am – 15.00pm beginning ASAP and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our online CPD college partnership, with a free course on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and Special Educational Needs.

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK Based university degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Naturally warm and supportive personality
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about a career supporting young people
