Maths Graduate Academic Tutor – Role:

• Support the schools maths department
• Work alongside students from KS3 – KS4
• Cover and run selected KS3 classes to build up your teaching experience
• Offer group and 1:1 intervention to students
• Focus on your maths subject specialism
• Support other students who have challenging behaviour
• Communicate clearly with students, staff & parents

Maths Graduate Academic Tutor – Person Specification:

• 1^st o 2:1 degree in a maths related subject
• Strong academic background e.g. A Levels
• Passion for maths & education
• Consider teacher training
• Prior education, teaching or tutoring experience desirable
