Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – The role:

  • Graduate pastoral support mentor
  • Work within the inclusion team
  • Deal with sensitive information correctly
  • Follow safeguarding procedures
  • Manage behaviour
  • Maintain high expectations and aspirations as a graduate pastoral support mentor
  • Run 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assist with the delivery of the behaviour policy
  • Liaise with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Monitor attendance and behaviour
  • Ensure student’s progress and achieve to their potential

 

Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – The School:

  • Located in Haringey
  • Rated Good by OFSTED with Outstanding aspects
  • Great pupil cohort who are keen to learn
  • Strong EAL presence in the school
  • Supportive pastoral and SEN team

 

Graduate Pastoral Support Mentor – Person specification:

  • 2:2 or above degree
  • Strong A Levels and GCSEs
  • An interest and passion for education
  • Long-term desire to work in education
  • Experience working with young people previously e.g. similar graduate pastoral support mentor
  • Prior experience working with behaviour and/or mental health needs
