A warm and welcoming primary school based in Mansfield is looking to find a hard-working and outgoing Pastoral Support Mentor able to provide vital 1:1 & small group support across KS1 & KS2 for the remainder of the academic year. In this role you will be creating and conducting support sessions based inside and out of the classroom, creating a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils with ASD.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with the position beginning immediately and ending in July 2023. The working hours for the role are from 08.30am – 15.00pm, paying £84 per day during term-time and having access to a free subject enhancement knowledge course via the online CPD college.

Pastoral Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Eager to gain vital first-hand pastoral based experience
