Primary French Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time French Teacher to join one of our lovely primary schools in Camden. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for educating KS2 children in the French language and culture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives and help them develop their language skills.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach French language and culture

– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

– Use effective behavior management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment

– Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback

– Collaborate with class teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience

– Communicate regularly with SLT to provide updates on student performance

– Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in language education

Skills:

– Strong knowledge of the French language and culture

– Experience in primary education is preferred

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

– Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a classroom setting

– Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. This is initially a contracted role with the potential to become permanent at Christmas.
