Primary SEN Learning Mentor

An incredible primary school based in Stockport are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate to join their hardworking team as a Primary SEN Learning Mentor! As a Primary SEN Learning, you will be responsible for supporting pupils during lesson time, helping the teacher prepare and delivering small sessions with groups of students who may require additional support.

Primary SEN Learning Mentor – The Role

  • Primary SEN Learning Mentor
  • Work closely with children with ASD, ADHD or SEN as a Primary SEN Learning Mentor
  • Inspiring role where you can start making a difference from day one
  • Supportive and passionate Teaching and Support Staff
  • Paid, invaluable classroom experience
  • Support class teachers by providing 1:1 for children with additional needs during lessons
  • Full time role, Monday to Friday
  • Paid £69- £96 per day, term time only

  • Primary SEN Learning Mentor- Permanent role
  • Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester (SK1)
  • 2 form entry
  • ‘Good’ graded by Ofsted
  • Focus on creative and imaginative learning techniques as a Primary SEN Learning Mentor
  • Children’s personal progression and well-being at the forefront of the school’s mission
  • Inspiring and dedicated Teachers

Primary SEN Learning Mentor– Person Specification

  • Primary SEN Learning Mentor- Full time role
  • You must have a degree to apply for this role – 1st class or 2:1
  • Any degree considered
  • Strong A-levels and GCSEs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for education
  • Previous experience working with ASD, ADHD, or SEN is required!
