i-teachers are currently working with a primary academy based in the Sunderland area who are looking to find a warm, dedicated and child-orientated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide excellent pupil support and plan and conduct lessons alongside the class teachers in KS1 & KS2 for the remainder of the academic year in a full-time role with an immediate start.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Primary Teaching Assistant
• Located in Sunderland (SR1)
• Based in one primary school
• Paid £450 per week during term time before tax
• Monday to Friday role – 08.30am to 15.00pm working hours
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
• Providing 1:1 & small group support to pupils
• Being supportive and outgoing member of teaching support department

Primary Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Ability to build rapport with children
