This excellent secondary school in Thurrock are looking for a confident Science graduate to delve into this Learning Mentor opportunity for 2024-25. i-teachers have an excellent history with this school. Many graduates have started as tutors and remain at the school as qualified teachers.

The role itself

• As a Science Graduate Learning Mentor, you will provide 1:1/group interventions, provide in class support and cover lessons
• You will monitor the progress of pupils and create content
• You will support the class teacher and head of department to achieve progress
• £450 – £550 weekly pay
• Full time, Monday to Friday
• Interview in June/July and start in September

Requirements

• First class or 2:1 Science degree from a top UK university
• Previous experience working with young people would be desirable
• Considering teacher training – potential to start next September at the same school
• Passionate about education and wanting a teaching career
