Science Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Science Graduate role, 2:2 or above degree required
• Some previous tutoring experience would be ideal
• Long term, full-time role starting September 2024
• Physics Teaching Assistant
• Excellent Pre-PGCE experience
• Potential route to Schools Direct training in 2022
• Full-Time Post (Mon-Fri)
• Paid up to £350 Per Week
• Salford location with excellent transport links

Science Teaching Assistant

As a Science Teaching Assistant you will be required to work with targeted students to ensure progress is being made, delivering intervention and 1:1 sessions where necessary. Your role will be varied day to day and the school will ensure that you are happy and settled into your new role.

After a period of training and as your confidence grows, you will be able to deliver your own ‘mini’ lessons to small groups of students and assist in planning exciting lessons with the teacher. You can really bring out your creative side and get involved in fun practical experiments. This role until the end of July is perfect for anyone considering a PGCE.
